What to Expect:

Exam: We will visually inspect your teeth and gums, looking for signs of decay, gum disease, or other oral health problems.
X-rays: X-rays may be taken to detect hidden issues such as cavities, bone loss, or impacted teeth.
Oral cancer screening: We may check for signs of oral cancer by examining your tongue, throat, gums, and other oral tissues.
Treatment plan: Based on the examination and your concerns, we will develop a treatment plan for you.

Dental Cleaning:

Plaque and tartar removal: Our hygienist will use specialized tools to remove plaque and tartar (hardened plaque) from your teeth.
Teeth polishing: After removing the plaque and tartar, our hygienist will polish your teeth using a gritty toothpaste-like substance and a rotating brush. This helps remove surface stains and leaves your teeth smooth and shiny.
Flossing: Our hygienist will floss between your teeth to remove any remaining plaque or debris.
Fluoride treatment is an option if you would like, this is applied to strengthen your teeth and protect against cavities.
